wickenden street pub - Providence, RI
Hole in the wall,low-lit dive bar with tons and tons of raddical beers on tap. Lots of handle bar moustaches invade this place daily. famous for the phrase "life is too short to drink shitty beer". Plus they have mega touch, look for my high score on Erotic Photo Hunt! The only place i know around here that has "yardlong" beer glasses. mmmm. - More

Thayer St. - Providence, RI
The hangout for high school and college kids from all over Rhode Island. There's food, there's stores, there's even street musicians most days. Even though some great stores have gone out of business (In Your Ear Records and the College Hill Bookstore), there's something for everyone on Thayer. - More
Acme Video - Providence, RI
Probably the best place to rent videos in the state of Rhode Island, maybe even MA. They've got tons of documentarys, old films, a huge lot on surfing, ninjas, every David Lynch film, they even have the Tom Waits film "Big Ones" which is hard to find. A fun place! Lots of independent animations too which are my favorite. It's a small little fee to rent the videos to start but it's the only downside cause their selection is great. So quit watchin the Pacifier for god's sakes and watch something different. Located right on Brook St. Easiest way to get there is to take the Wickenden St. exit from 195, go on Wickenden and turn left on Brook. Little sign outside, not too hard to miss. - More
