Thread - new 7 wonders of the world?

so i saw on yahoo today that some swiss writer is setting up some kind of campaign for a new set of worldly wonders... since all but the pyramids have been destroyed it said, it seems like a good enough idea. some of the new candidates were the great wall of china and easter island, the eiffel tower and statue of liberty. im pretty sure there was a website called new7wonders.com. if not then google it. i think i'll definately have to get to all these places.

I saw that thing too; Easter Island has always been really cool looking, but it's so far out of the way of anything else. If it were closer it would make a great trip.
